You can dictate on DictaSmart’s phone-in dictation system easily by following this procedure.

1. Dial your DictaSmart Toll-Free or Local Phone number from any phone and you will be prompted for access code.
2. Enter your access code followed by # and you will continue to the main menu.
3. Follow your specific dictation instructions to complete your dictation.
4. When your dictation is complete send it using the appropriate send command listed in your dictation instructions.

A dictation Author account can be added to any existing plan easily by following this procedure.

1. Login to your DictaSmart.com account by clicking here and entering your credentials.
2. View your account dashboard by clicking here.
3. Determine which Dictation Plan in My Dictation Plans that you want to add a user and click the associated "Configure" icon.
4. Click the "Add Author" button.
5. Complete the form and click the "Done" button.
6. An email will be sent to the email address used in the new Author form, to notify that the new Author account is provisioned.
7. You have successfully added a user to an existing Dictation Plan.

An FTP user can be added to an exiting FTP plan easily by following this procedure.

1. Login to your DictaSmart.com account by clicking here and entering your credentials.
2. View your account dashboard by clicking here.
3. Determine which Online FTP Storage Plan in My FTP Plans that you want to add a user and click the associated "Configure" icon.
4. Click the "Add FTP User" button. If an FTP user account is available then it will be added, if not you have reached your limit for the account and cannot add any more users.
5. Complete the form and click the "Done" button to create the new FTP user.
6. An email will be sent to the FTP user, notifying them of their account parameters and providing instructions and support if needed.
7. You have successfully added an FTP user to an existing Online FTP Storage Plan.

Dictation delivery method can be changed easily by following this procedure.

1. Login to your DictaSmart.com account by clicking here and entering your credentials.
2. View your account dashboard by clicking here.
3. Determine which Author in the Authors section for which you would like to modify the delivery method and click the associated "Configure" icon.
4. Scroll to the "Deliver Method" section and make the appropriate changes.
5. Click the "Update" button to save your changes.
6. An email will be sent to the email address used for the Author to notify them of the changes to their account.
7. You have successfully changed the dictation delivery method for an Author.

You can view the current usage of any dictation plan at any time by following these steps.

1. Login to your DictaSmart.com account by clicking here and entering your credentials.
2. View your account dashboard by clicking here.
3. Determine which Dictation Plan in My Dictation Plans section for which you would like to view current usage information and click the associated "Usage" icon.
4. You have successfully viewed the usage of a Dictation Plan.
